1988 ASC McLaren Mustang Convertible — 5-Speed, Dash Plaque #1481 ascMcLaren Red over Sand Beige leather, tan top. Built by Ford 05/88, converted by ASC. One of 1,015 built for 1988. Only 282 were five-speeds. Only 96 got the tan top. Verified against the ascMcLaren registry. Paint presents well. Tan top operates correctly. Engine bay is dry, shock towers sound. Rear seat original and in good condition. Door tag intact with the VIN matching title and Carfax. No accidents or damage reported, service records on file. Drives and runs well. Done before me: Supercharger, cam, 800cc injectors, the mass air conversion and the Paxton intake piping were done by a previous owner — I have no records on that work. Paxton Novi supercharger running the Paxton Fuel Control Unit. Factory 5.0 HO intake manifold retained. Done during my ownership: 3.55:1 gears · clutch kit · upper and lower control arms · lowering springs · sway bar · brakes all around · upgraded fuel pump · upgraded starter · new battery.
